The 16th season of AOR has ended for the DRS team
In this 16th season of AOR, a total of 7 stages had to be completed, which took place at Nurburgring, Hungaroring, Bathurst, Snetterton, Valencia, Laguna Seca, Red Bull Ring.
This season, a total of 9 drivers participated from the DRS team, who were divided into different splits.
Also in the strongest split from the DRS team were two drivers Kristers Znotiņš and Krišs Jaunzemis, who fought with the fastest AOR Tier 1 drivers.
Due to lack of time, Krišs Jaunzems had to skip several stages and this made him finish the season in 29th position.
Meanwhile, his teammate participated in all stages this season and ends this season in a high 9th position.
Aivars Vaivars, Ēriks Logins and Ralfs Kalniņš, who represented the DRS team, took part in the second strongest split.
Aivars Vaivars finished this season in 11th position, while his team’s drivers finished the season in 23rd and 35th position, skipping several stages.
In the third split, two DRS team drivers Rudolfs Dravnieks and Elvis Lībietis started for us.
This was Elvi’s first season in this championship and he ended it in 18th position.
A very unsuccessful season turned out for Rūdolfs Dravnieks, who finished the season only in 38th position.
Also in the fourth split, our team was represented by Gints Barons and Jorens Saulevičs.
This was also Gint`s and Joren’s first season in AOR.
Although Barons collected 12 penalty points during the season, it did not prevent him from ending the season in 13th position.
Meanwhile, his teammate finished the season in 26th position.
This season was very interesting and for many team drivers this season was the first outside of Latvia. After the AOR season ended, the team drivers started preparing for the LRL season and the new AOR season.
