Introduced to simracing as recently as late 2023 starting with XBOX ACC with Logitech G29 setup. When I got tired of running open lobby races on XBOX, I started looking for other options to add to the ACC racing experience. This is how I came to PC ACC, with the aim of trying out what LFM is all about. After running the LFM races I discovered that it’s actually not as easy as it seems at first glance. It was followed by a multiple track guides and the desire to understand where those few seconds on the track disappear. Then followed various SImGrid races with failures and successes. Everything finally came to a head in the 24h Nordschleife race with a team of 4 in a small event on the SimGrid, where the team took 1st place.
During this intense little more than half a year different sim racing setups were experienced starting with g29, continuing with Fanatec CSL dd and ending up with the simagic ecosystem thanks to Einārs from DRS and his recommendations, demonstrations and responsiveness.
In the summer of 2024 I discovered the world of iRacing which took up all my free time leaving ACC in the background for the time being.
Now it is a target to continue to develop and improve in the Latvian simracing community and to bring glory to both the DRS team and the Latvian name in the world of simracing.
